Sylvia Shromoff

As a junior at Shakopee, she was voted team captain, received All-Conference, All-Section Team, and the MVP award. She posted 37.2 IP, 47K’s, a 2.4 ERA, and 1.3 WHIP in her 2023 season. Sylvia helped pitch her team to State this past season, including a 2-1 win over Eden Prairie in the 2AAAA Section Final. Sylvia has been voted again as a captain for the 2024 season. Sylvia has been pitching for Shakopee Varsity since she was a freshman.

Outside of High School, Sylvia plays for Top Gun 18U National, based out of Kansas City. This will be her second year as a pitcher for Top Gun. Traveling all around the country, playing the top competition in tournaments like PGF Premier National Championships, Top Gun Invite, and Colorado Sparkler-Power Pool. During this last summer at PGF Premier National Championships, Sylvia had a 0.00 ERA, 0.875 WHIP, along with 14K’s and no walks.

Sylvia started pitching at six years old and has been mentored by Sara Moulton for the last 7 years. She has led and assisted with youth clinics and individual instruction for over two years. Sylvia loves the game and loves giving back to the young athletes in the softball community.
