Our SZS Performance Classes are small group training sessions, specifically designed to improve physical and cognitive performance, strength, speed, reaction, and recovery time. Our classes are led by Lauren Glorvigen, who is a highly experienced strength and conditioning coach.

When my daughter started Performance Training last year she was coming off of a period of challenging mental and physical illness. She was uncomfortable in her skin and struggled with confidence on and off the field. Fast forward 9 months to now – she is stronger, faster, and more fit than she has been in years. Lauren has been a fantastic strength coach and role model for our daughter over the course of the last year. Lauren’s strength program has had a major impact on our daughter’s overall performance in softball and her everyday confidence. You can see clear improvements with her body control and the positive changes that come with that in pitching, hitting, and fielding. Our daughter is excited every day that she goes to Lauren and even more excited to share how she was challenged to do more than she thought she could. Lauren’s passion about conditioning comes through everything she does and is reflected in my daughter every day.

Doing performance training with Coach Lauren at SZS last summer was one of the best decisions I could have made! As a Division One athlete, I needed something to make sure I was staying in shape and even making gains over the off-season, and performance training was just what I needed. I got so much stronger and in much better shape, and thus gained a lot of self-confidence. Lauren places a huge emphasis on proper technique and does a great job of teaching athletes how to do each exercise correctly and what to focus on. Not only did Lauren help me improve my physical strength and athleticism, but she also helped me become mentally tougher. She pushes you hard in the weight room, driving you to accomplish things you maybe did not think you could, and it is clear that she invests a great deal of time and energy into each client as an athlete and an individual. I could not recommend performance training with Lauren more!
